Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings & Payments
All surf lessons and packages must be booked in advance.
We offer payments with PayPal and YOCO. If you choose to pay with YOCO, you’ll be offered to pay via Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or EFT (works internationally).
Group lessons are booked by one person paying for their spot as down-payment, the rest of the participants pay after the lesson via Credit Card, Cash or Paypal.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations
Lessons should be rescheduled at least 24h before the lesson.
If a lesson is rescheduled twice within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, any further rescheduling for that lesson will not be possible.
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your surf lesson, we offer a 50% refund to cover preparation time and lost booking opportunities.
No-shows without notice are non-refundable.
SurfXCape reserves the right to reschedule or cancel lessons due to unsafe conditions. In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled where possible.
3. Completion of Lessons
Surf lessons are booked as a reserved time slots.
A lesson is considered complete once the booked time slot has commenced, regardless of whether the participant chooses to end the session early due to fatigue, weather conditions, or personal preference.
Lesson structure, time spent in the water, and coaching approach may vary depending on ocean conditions, safety considerations, and the participant’s level.
Lessons are delivered based on real ocean conditions and professional coaching judgment, not exact minute counts.
4. Packages & Multiple Sessions
When booking lesson packages:
- Sessions may be scheduled individually or, where appropriate, combined into longer sessions by agreement.
- Once a session has taken place, it counts toward the package and cannot be reopened, renegotiated, or credited afterward.
Unused lessons resulting from participant availability, late arrival, or early departure are not refundable.
5. Late Arrivals
Late arrival may result in a shortened session.
Lessons will still be counted as scheduled and are not extended beyond the original time slot.
6. Safety & Responsibility
Surfing is an ocean-based activity and involves inherent risks.
Participants must:
- Follow instructor guidance at all times
- Inform SurfXCape of any medical conditions or swimming limitations
- Acknowledge that conditions may change quickly
SurfXCape instructors reserve the right to end or adjust a session for safety reasons.
7. No Refunds for Completed Sessions
Completed lessons and packages are non-refundable.
Refunds or credits are not provided for:
- Subjective dissatisfaction after a session has been delivered
- Early exits chosen by the participant
- Weather conditions that are safe but challenging
9. Reviews & Feedback
We value honest feedback and aim to provide the best possible experience.
Any concerns should be raised directly with SurfXCape so they can be addressed constructively.
10. Updates to Terms & Conditions
SurfXCape reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version in effect at the time of booking applies to that booking.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a lesson or package with SurfXCape, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
